Power play or playing with power?

The Krasnoyarsk Krai regional military command has elected to move a Squadron of bombers into Norilsk, solidifying the Yanayev regime's position in Moscow. The city administrative bureau declined our requests for an interview on the matter.
This move comes after the recent coup of Gorbachev's central council, signifying the shift in politics and attitude towards the growing threat of the West. More to come.

Many people were shocked this morning to find that the local council in charge of the new atomic power units in Norilsk had been sacked due to charges of embezzlement and fraud.
The council members are not the only ones seeing the newfound wrath of the Yanayev government however; the Ministry for Medium Machine Building also found itself in need of a new minister and committee as the previous minister and his subordinates were escorted out of their offices by military police last Wednesday on similar charges, as well as speculations about their involvement in the Chornobyl disaster.
